Pricing questions, answered
Do I pay for outbound bandwidth?
No. Each shape includes a monthly bandwidth allowance. If you truly need more than the bundled amount, you can add it on the calculator above at $3/TB, there's never an overage bill.
How do commitment discounts work?
Pay monthly has no commitment. The 1-year term applies a 10% discount for the whole term; the 3-year term, 20%. You can cancel early, you just lose the remaining discount on the period consumed.
What does "Balanced" vs "Dedicated" mean?
Balanced shares CPU capacity across tenants, great for light or variable workloads. Dedicated reserves CPU cycles for your server, which stabilizes performance for databases, build servers and high-traffic apps.
Is the Windows license included?
Windows Server templates include a $16/month license fee per instance. Linux templates have no licensing cost.
Can I change the configuration later?
Yes. You can resize the server, add or remove storage, enable or disable add-ons, and change commitment terms from the console at any time.
